Melinda loves spots and I love having a doe sired by our herdsire from the 1990s, so Sassafras was retained as a kid because of her color pattern and genetics. As a younger doe, she was not a "showy" doe, being shorter and more compact than most current show does. However, she is structurally correct doe in most categories. Her udder has capacity and a large area of attachment. She was never shown until she was three years old and finished her championship quickly, going GCH three times in her first four shows.
