This is another Lucky Lad daughter and is one of our favorites. She looks so much like an immature version of her dam/grandam, Lore. She is just as correct in general appearance and mammary as Lore and has the same "look." She has good rear leg angulation, has a strong back, and walks uphill. With her inbreeding, we believe that she will be a key doe in our breeding program for the next several years. She had a horrible kidding as a first freshening two year old, so we did not attempt to get her into the show ring as a milking doe. After an uncomplicated delivery of quads as a second freshener, she milked exceptionally well (our top producer), and we could not get her body condition to where we wanted it to be. In spite of her thinness, she maintained body depth and was 2 x GCH/2 x BOB in her first first weekend of showing and finished her championship. Six weeks later, she was still milking heavily and was still too thin, so we were pleased that she appraised 87 GVVE with a 40 in RUH. Hopefully, in the years ahead, we hope that she will add body weight prior to kidding so that she will be in good show and appraisal condition shortly after kidding.
