Elsie descends from an exceptionally strong dam line going back to GCH Jesta-Farm Almost Eternity, who was sired by a Cedarsage Magic Technique son named Cedarsage Pure Magic. The next 7 generations descending from Eternity include SGCH Jesta Farm Almost Eden, CH Backcountry FF Emerald, GCH Evergreen Pines Emmie, SGCH Evergreen Pines Emceega 7-02 91 EEEE, Foxwood Montage's Emmy, CH (pend) Foxwood Jock's Empress, and CH (pend) Foxwood Marvel's Elsie. Only one doe in the dam line for 8 generations did not finish her championship. The doe that did not finish was Elsie's granddam, Emmy. We sold Emmy as a second freshener to a herd that didn't show her. Elsie's littermate sister was RGCH as a two year old, and her maternal yearling sister (Enola) freshened with a correct mammary.
Elsie didn't make it to the show ring until she was a second freshening two year old. She quickly finished her championship by placing GCH/BOB in her first two shows, RGCH in her third show, and GCH/BOB in her fourth show. She has a strong topline, long lean neck, and a strongly attached udder with good teat placement, rear udder height, and strong medial.
