We saw Liwa when we went to pick up Foxwood Midas Missed Stitch. She was due to kid in a couple of weeks when we saw her. At the time, knowing nothing about the pedigree, I mentioned to the owner how much she reminded me of our doe Lomasi and asked her if she'd be interested in letting us get her while we were getting Stitch. The owner said that she wanted to keep her until she kidded but would consider letting her go after she kidded. I asked about her pedigree, but the owner only had a few goats and didn't know their pedigrees. She sent her daughter into the house to get her registration papers, and, when we saw them, we knew why she looked like Lomasi! A tall, long-necked doe with a wide rump and good rear leg angulation, Liwa has shown well. With her immature look and with very little milk in her udder on appraisal day, we were pleased with her appraisal score of 87 and her E in back.
